        KARTING  ORGANIZATIONS

Listed here are National and International organizations that regulate karting.  There are also hundreds of race tracks around North America that do not require membership in a National organization.  The benefits of membership in one of these organizations are usually a monthly magazine, standardized insurance and rules at sanctioned tracks.

World Karting Association  (WKA)   6051 Victory Lane - Concord, NC 28027 - 704-455-1606  WKA is the largest organization in the United States.  Based mainly on the East Coast of the USA.  They sanction oval, sprint and enduro competition.

International Kart Federation  (IKF)   1609 South Grove Avenue Suite 105 -Ontario, CA 91761  - 909-923-4999  IKF is the original sanctioning body for karting.  They are based on the West Coast of the USA.  They sanction oval, sprint and enduro races.
