2009 Birel Cadet
Kart C28 Z
The C 28Z Motorsport model is the evolution
of the C 28 C–J
chassis of the past
season. It
takes up the basic aspects of its
design, which were adapted to meet the
Italian regulations of the newly-born
Minikart 60
class. This
peculiar property is important, because
it offers users a newly homologated but
at the same time well-tested and
successful product. The
chassis made of 28-mm tubes was designed
also relying on the know-how acquired
with chassis of the superior range.
The body of the C 28Z
actually reveals a few traits of
the R line, which has reaped
many victories in the 100 as
well as in the 125 class.
A
further technical aspect worth
mentioning concerns the braking
system: it is the same system
employed on the fore-carriage of
the 125 Motorsport models, an
absolute guarantee of efficacy
and safety. The
Birel offer for the 60 class is
certainly positioned within the
upscale market segment for more
demanding users.
For
this reason it was planned
exclusively for the Motorsport
version and fitted out with all
the top-range Hq Freeline
accessories. The
C 28Z also offers the option
of adopting two stabilizer bars
- front and rear - for those
markets, like the U.S., in which
the regulations provide for it.
Designed for the Cadet class in the USA that uses the Comer
80cc two-stroke motor, for ages 8 to 12 years old. Also is recommended for use
in the Rotax MiniMax class.
